Job Title: Nutrition Program Manager
Organization: Child Development Associates (CDA)
Location: Bonita, CA
Job Description: Under general direction, the Program Manager is responsible for managing the USDA Child Care Food Program for Family Day Care Homes ensuring compliance with criteria set by federal and state guidelines and regulations and CDA policies and procedures.
Essential Duties include:
Plan, direct, organize and evaluate nutrition program activities and training to ensure CDA’s mission, goals and objectives are met.
Establish work quality and performance standards.
Monitor and enforce compliance
Analyze findings and ensure corrective action plans are developed for improvement
Participate in all aspects of hiring, training, scheduling, and measuring of performance.
Minimum Qualifications: Education, training, and/or experience that demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed. Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Human Services or related field plus 5 years’ experience in a supervisory and program management role; must possess strong knowledge of knowledge of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and requirements, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
